SCCM 2012 R2 Console requires compatibility mode on Windows 7
After wholesale jerseys cheap mlb jerseys wholesale jerseys China cheap jerseys China wholesale jerseys China recently cheap nba jerseys upgrading cheap jerseys to All System Whats Center The 2012 Welcome! R2, we noticed that after installing the R2 console on Windows 7 machines, the following error presented itself when launching the console:
The Configuration Manager console is currently updating 1 or more console extensions and cannot be run at this time. Try again after the update task has completed.
This seems to be related to .NET Framework, although installing .NET Framework 4.5 did not solve the issue either.
The workaround that can be used meanwhile is to go into the compatibility tab on the application shortcut and enable Compatibility Mode (set to Windows 7).
However, this requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed (else the Windows 7 option will not be available in the Compatibility Mode list).
